Kikko Sashiko Pattern - Tortoiseshell Hexagons

The Kikkō sashiko pattern is based on repeating hexagonal shapes resembling the geometric structure of a tortoiseshell. The connected hexagons form a strong and orderly repeating pattern.

Its six-sided geometry makes Kikkō visually different from square and diamond sashiko designs. The pattern is useful for practicing straight stitches along lines that meet at several different angles.
