Shippo Sashiko Pattern - Seven Treasures
The Shippo sashiko pattern, often called the Seven Treasures pattern, is formed from overlapping or interlocking circles. The repeated curves create petal-like shapes and a continuous geometric design.
Unlike sashiko patterns made mainly from straight lines, Shippo provides an opportunity to practice stitching smooth curves while keeping the repeated shapes consistent.
The interlocking design works especially well as an all-over fabric pattern. Use the printable template for sashiko embroidery, quilting, visible mending, decorative stitching and Japanese-inspired textile projects.
