This A4 semi-log graph paper uses a logarithmic scale along the horizontal X-axis and a regular linear scale along the vertical Y-axis. It is the reverse arrangement of the more common semi-log paper with a logarithmic Y-axis.

A logarithmic X-axis is useful when the horizontal variable covers a wide range of values. It can be particularly helpful for plotting frequency-dependent measurements and other datasets where X values span several orders of magnitude.

This grid can be used for electronics, acoustics, frequency-response graphs, scientific experiments and technical calculations. It is also suitable for classroom exercises involving logarithmic scales.
